The Loud Talker

I am but a single person trying to help our border guards. But as citizens we still have a say. Our voices were heard when the amnesty bill was shoved at us and we won. Now it’s time to end another injustice.

I had the honor of meeting with Representative Lamar Smith (R-TX) two weeks ago. He is on our side re: the Ramos & Compean case. He calls this case a travesty and has written the president asking for a pardon. He also needs our help. Believe it or not, our faxes and emails actually get noticed, but you have to make them individualized. As Smith put it , It only takes a few dozen faxes to make it onto a congressman’s desk. Staffers go through the messages, discount form letters, tally up the totals and then give him a list of the top five issues each week. WE ACTUALLY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Therefore I’m providing the info below to make it as easy as possible for like-minded people to get the message out.

This morning I faxed the White House, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Johnny Sutton. I also emailed Michael Savage, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Bill Bennett, G Gordon Liddy and Hugh Hewitt. Maybe emailing Laura Bush will help. I’m taking the fight right back to Johnny Sutton by appealing to him directly. Here’s what I faxed him early this morning:

Ramos & Compean have paid their debt to society.

They are missing the most important years of their children’s lives.

The jury didn’t know about the mandatory 10-year sentence.

Mr. Sutton, you are friends with the president. Please, please, please talk to him and help him understand that a pardon is the right thing to do. It is the Christian thing to do. These men have paid their debt to society.

Politicians from both parties have made repeated efforts to free these agents. George Bush is an honorable man, but he is also stubborn. However, you have his ear! Please, please, please help reunite Ramos & Compean with their families and end their horrible nightmare!
