Imagine…

On September 21, 2010, in Politics, by admin

“Imagine having a president that you can believe in.”

That’s Barack Obama in his response to George W. Bush’ final state of the union address. In his response Obama laid out a list of grievances and told America that he was what our country needed. Hope. Change. A new direction  for Washington.

But fast-forward to today and you recognize that Americans are coping with a completely different reality. Massive debt. A health care legislative disaster. A failed stimulus bill. And a Democratic-led government that is about to act like a cornered animal knowing that it is about to die. Desperate bills will be proposed, and some may pass. Democratic leadership, the same leadership that promised to lead “the most open, the most honest, and most ethical congress in history,” is flushing our future down the toilet.

I have had enough.

The only way we regain control of our government is by voting the bums out of office. And to do that we need to educate not only moderates but the politically apathetic as well. To do this we need to remind them of what they fell for two years ago, and show them how they were misled, toyed with and lied to. Millions of Obama supporters pushed logic aside in favor of charisma. They fell in love with a rock star, not a president. And millions were enamored by the thought of voting a black man into the White House. Well, that excuse is history. Now it’s time to wake the hell up and deal with this political hangover.

Look, I understand how some of you feel. You let your guard down. You let emotions get the best of you. And after you voted for an image you waited for hope and change to happen. Frankly, you were smooth talked at the bar and now you are lying in bed the next morning hoping he calls you again. You have been used. Yes, used.

Therefore, to shock you out of your denial I offer this cold splash of video reality. No distortion, no tricks. These are Obama’s own words. Soak it up. Let it sink in. And don’t fall for the same mistake again. The future of our country depends on your judgment. If you are going to exercise the beloved right to vote, please honor those that died to protect that right and pay attention.

Eight Failed Years…

On May 20, 2009, in Politics, by admin

SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! I am so tired of these liberal references:

  • eight years of failed policies
  • the failed Bush years
  • eight years of Bush economics
  • get us out of this mess that Bush created

Our economic woes have NOTHING to do with Bush. The massive spending at the END of his term was based on the pack of lies our “best financial minds” sold to Bush and the Democratic-led Congress. We were in the midst of a post 9-11 economic recovery and were at nearly full employment two years ago.  Give me the Bush economy ANY DAY over Obamanomics.

Stimulus Shmimulus

On May 14, 2009, in Economy, by admin

This graph tells us what most rational people already knew about the Stimulus. IT WASN’T NECESSARY. Billions of dollars, OUR dollars, were thrown down an obvious drain.
