Let’s Talk To Killers Of Schoolgirls

On May 26, 2009, in Politics, by admin

Obama is willing to talk to certain elements of the Taliban. After reading this depressing dip into reality I wonder if any of them should still be allowed to remain alive. I tend to think not.

EXCERPT: After confirming the closures, he reads aloud from the Taliban night letters, as simply formulated as they are explicit. “As of today,” he reads from a message from Aqtash, “girls are no longer allowed to attend school.” The letter is marked with a logo of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan — in English, yet another indication of just how well organized the Taliban are in the German area of operation.

Another threat letter depicts a schoolgirl at the gallows. “We have warned you,” reads the message. “If we now kill schoolgirls, you shouldn’t be surprised.”

Another Reversal to Anger the Left

On May 15, 2009, in Politics, by admin

Well, well, friggin’ well…  after years of lefty code-pinko screaming and whining about war crimes and civil rights, Barack-O is actually recognizing that it is much harder to lead than it is to campaign. He’s learning that his limited access prevented him from making rational decisions, and he is learning that his big donors may not actually have a CLUE when it comes to national policies. What will the left have to say about this reversal on tribunals? Read this.

Hamas crying wolf?

Can you find Israel, Hamas and the Palestinian in this picture?

Can you find Israel, Hamas and the Palestinian in this picture?

Rumors are that a truce is being worked on. I’m all for peace. However, Hamas has repeatedly violated truces, ceasefires et al. I hope that Israel chooses to hold fire for the time being. I also hope that if Hamas launches a single missle at Israel afterwards that Israel should respond with twice the force it has already used. Hamas (a.k.a. Iran) needs to be eliminated… I would bet a hefty sum that this ‘truce’ is only temporary and a distraction at best.  At some point in time you have to stop spraying the bee’s nest and get out the flame thrower.
